Glad to see Kevin is knocking you into shape, played with him at Alfreton Big Band for a while, now I'm playing 2nd trom at Thoresby. You've got one of the best bandsman around. Good luck for the future. Yours Mick Allen

comment:  Danny, we're delighted that you're our tuned percussionist, and couldn't have got that great result without you. We were just a bit slow to remove the vacancy, so dry your eyes and start practising The Talisman for the Area contest in March!

comment:  Symonds is back, you don't know what you have let yourselves in for! Actually, no probs, I am only doing Pontins for the day. Your band will stay 'safe'.
Ask Woodings, he knows what I mean.
Looking forward to helping you all out.
Phil.

I remember him as a quiet unassuming guy and a good bandsman.
Good luck for Pontins, I may turn up and listen.

comment:  So sorry to see the very sad news about Denis Walker;
I played in Newhall Band from 1983-1990(David Hutchinson conductor) and Dennis played 2nd Baritone on a number of occasions at contests with me, i remember him joining the band.
A nice friendly man who always gave 100% and someone who never let you down at all both on Contests & Concerts.
A friend that i will miss.

comment:  I would like to thank Peter & Patricia who gave me the opportunity to listen to your Band's wonderful music when you played at Burton Town Center last X MAS. Although I was there for a short time in Burton on Trent that is one of the most unforgettable moments in my life. Thank you guys keep up the good work.
