Reproduction Tiffany Poinsettia Lamp
The Poinsettia is associated with Christmas. The 'flowers' are not flowers at all, but leaves which turn bright red under the right conditions.
Louis Comfort Tiffany made his Poinsettia design in more than one size. The reproduction that I make is the 13" diameter size. This is a very detailed design with several hundred pieces. The colours I use are closely based on an original Tiffany lamp bought by Tempsford Stained Glass several years ago for £13,000. A rich red and a vibrant green for the flowers, a golden background which graduates to a pale sky blue near the top aperture.
